Here's a 1D CA generator:
To use it, change the rules (top half) and the starting state (top row of grid) by clicking. The resulting iterations will be generated.
Unfortunately, it seems like neither of these are working very well. If you have problems (or don't) let me know in a comment or email. I can mess with it to see if I can get it to work.
